Mt. Juliet commissioners have taken a step toward approving a plan for a city block development that incorporates commercial space for restaurants and retail along with 245 residential units and a new city hall.

Mt. Juliet could soon see a brand new walkable downtown district with both residential and commercial buildings.

The developer is from the city and has a $150 million dollar vision.

“The city is changing a lot,” Mark Lineberry of Lineberry Properties said. “We are happy to be apart of it and shape the future of it.”

Wilson County is growing at rapid speed – both residential and commercial. Lineberry Properties is right in the center of the growth, keeping up with the energy coming out of the last two years.
