A basket of freshly baked rolls with a side of honey cinnamon butter will soon be available to people in Mt. Juliet after the city announced a Texas Roadhouse is on the way.
City Commissioner Scott Hefner announced that Texas Roadhouse is coming to Mt. Juliet. The sit-down steakhouse is set to be built near the new Costco off Golden Bear Gateway and Rutland Road.
Mark Lineberry, of Lineberry Developments, confirmed that Texas Roadhouse has signed a lease.
The property is near a Costco store that recently opened at 100 Legacy Pointe Boulevard, just off Golden Bear Gateway.

Popular steakhouse Texas Roadhouse has plans to open a location in the Legacy Pointe development off Golden Bear Gateway in Mt. Juliet.
If approved, the location will be near the recently opened Costco close to Interstate 40, said developer and property owner Mark Lineberry. Texas Roadhouse locations are already open in Murfreesboro and Hendersonville.
Lineberry said corporate representatives from the restaurant recently met with Mt. Juliet city officials for a “pre-application” meeting.
